Audible Alarm Notification
Kenwood
handheld radios are an integral part of the emergency call system.
Handheld radios provide “Audible Alarm Notification” to
all caregivers. Using the handheld radio keypad, the caregiver is required
to immediately enter their unique identification code to acknowledge
the emergency call. This provides documentation as to which caregiver
is responding to the call and alerts other caregivers that the call
is being responded to. This eliminates the potential for multiple caregivers
responding to the same call or possibly not responding at all. Caregivers
are still required to go to the residents apartment and reset the emergency
call switch. Kenwood radios and cordless phones also provide an outstanding
in-house staff communications system.
Handheld Radios provide:
-
Instant “Audible Alarm Notification” to Caregivers
-
Simultaneous Broadcast of Emergency Call Alarms to all Caregivers
-
Staff Accountability with Unique I.D. Code
-
Instant Staff Communications During an Emergency
-
Routine Daily Staff Communications

Staff Paging
On-site staff paging can be an effective cost efficient way to provide alarm notification
to caregivers. Pagers display the apartment number of the wireless pull cord or mobile
pendant that has been activated. The paging software also provides for individual paging
with customized messages.
