Unique Caregiver Acknowledgement Code
“Caregiver Acknowledgement” is
one of many advanced system features requiring staff to enter their
individual ID. code when responding to an emergency call. The caregiver
ID. code provides accountability for the emergency call documenting
who responded, time of day and how long it took to acknowledge.
When a caregiver acknowledges an emergency call using their Kenwood
radio, the acknowledgement is announced to the other caregivers notifying
them that the call is being responded to. This helps to eliminate
the potential for more than one caregiver to respond and assures
that the call will be responded to. The caregiver is still required
to go to the resident’s apartment in order to reset the emergency
call switch.
All alarms and supervision events are logged to the hard
drive. View and print all emergency call alarms providing date and time
of the emergency call, the responding caregiver and the time that the
emergency call switch was restored or reset. This information can be
utilized in assuring the family of a loved one that immediate response
is provided.
