Emergency Call Systems

Wireless Systems

CME wireless emergency call systems offer the greatest reliability, and flexibility. Our computer based wireless systems provide 24/7 supervised coverage of emergency pull cords, mobile pendants, door contacts, smoke detectors and all other wireless devices throughout your facility and property. Provide wireless pull cords virtually anywhere in the facility. Residents wearing mobile pendant transmitters have peace of mind knowing they can receive help anywhere in the building or on the property. Mobile pendant transmitters are water resistant and can be worn in the shower. Locators can be added to identify the location or zone from which the mobile pendant was activated. The CME emergency call systems utilize handheld radios or cordless phones to provide instant “Audible Alarm Notification” which is simultaneously sent to all caregivers. Our software requires the responding caregiver to enter a “Unique Acknowledgement Code” which notifies the other caregivers that they are responding to the call. The unique staff acknowledgement code provides accountability for the emergency call. When the emergency call alarm is activated, the computer records the date and time of the alarm, which caregiver responded, what time they responded and when they arrived at the resident’s apartment. All of the alarm information is recorded to the computer and can be viewed and printed with the easy to use report section. Handheld radios and cordless phones offer instant communications between all staff during emergencies and for routine business throughout the day.

Superior Wireless Technology

The reliability of CME’s wireless emergency call systems is second to none using Inovonics “Frequency Agile Spread Spectrum Wireless Technology”. Inovonics who pioneered 900Mhz for the security industry has been a performance leader for the past fifteen years and is an ISO 9001 certified company. Compared with other wireless technology that use the 300Mhz range and send just one signal, Inovonics 900Mhz wireless technology sends a multitude of signals over different frequencies providing redundancy. The Inovonics wireless wave length is also significantly smaller and has much greater range which means the signal travels through the building with less effort. Supervision of all wireless devices is a key concern. Inovonics wireless transmitters send a supervision signal to the computer as often as sixty seconds compared with most transmitters that send a signal once an hour.
